Fashion hotlist for spring 2014

Your guide to the new season is here as we round up the hottest collaborations, collector's items and high street heroes

The high-street favourite & Other Stories and its directional aesthetic hit our high streets with a bang last year, and the juggernaut is not slowing. This month sees the launch of its campaign with the 1990s model Jenny Shimizu and her partner, Michelle Harper, and a collaboration with the Russian designer Vika Gazinskaya is on its way.

The jeweller 

The Danish designer Sophie Bille Brahe is the jeweller to invest in this year. Like Delfina Delettrez and Gaia Repossi, Brahe is changing the way we wear jewellery, with ear cuffs, midi rings and single earrings. We first fell for her Croissant Lune earring, a sweep of diamonds following the curve of the earlobe, and her pearl collection has sealed her status.

The affordable prints 

The design duo Peter Pilotto are applying their eye-popping prints and sculpted silhouettes to an affordable 70-piece collection for the American retailer Target, and thanks to Net-a-Porter items will be available in Britain from February 9. Look out for mix-and-match bikinis (£16.99), the above mesh-sleeve cardigans (£40), and this jacket (£60) - they'll sell out fast. 


The breakout star

The ex-Céline designer Joe Richards has launched his own line of tailoring that is just the right side of sexy. It is beautifully made in exquisite fabrics, with prices ranging from £420 for a dress to £1,020 for a coat. Available from Matches . 


Ostwald Helgason x Aldo Rise

Known for its quirky take on sportswear and its street-style appeal, the east London brand Ostwald Helgason is the latest to work with Aldo Rise . The resulting collection of shoes and bags hits stores in March. Shoes, £110 and Bag, £50.
